Picture: The turquoise waters of this beautiful lake reflect the glacier clad slopes of Mt. Victoria at its far end. This view is framed by the famous red poppies that grow in the gardens surrounding the Chateau Lake Louise.

I don't think the post cards on here do justice to what looks to be a stunningly beautiful part of the world and again I would like to thank Joanne for sharing them with me and anyone that browses this web site.

Picture: Maligne Lake (Jasper National Park) is famous throughout the world for the incredible beauty of its waters and for the majesty of the surrounding mountain peaks. It is seen here from the view point overlooking Spirit Island, a small outcropping located near the southeast end of the twenty-seven kilometre long lake.
